Here at Home Sense, we realize that as time passes there are certain aspects of home ownership that will arise, and sometimes these challenges arrive sooner than expected. Every home, new or older, will require routine home maintenance, home repairs, and home improvements over time and along with these challenges, there will be many questions which will need to be answered.

 My name is Slawek Polinski, owner of Home Sense, and I have been working with homeowners just like you for the past 15 years and I understand how important your home is to you and I also know there is nothing like the feeling of satisfaction a homeowner feels when they do some of the projects themselves. A homeowner can also save a considerable amount of money by learning how to some of the home improvement and home repair projects themselves and with today's economy we all want to save as much as we can.

  Have you ever watched those home improvement and home repair shows on your television and wondered how they can possibly get such a perfect job done in such a short time? Did you know it takes many hours and many mistakes to film a 30 minute show? Why don't they show those mistakes? I think that if a professional makes a mistake on a project, there is a pretty good chance there will be some homeowners that will make the same mistake and wouldn't it be great to know how to fix and work around our mistakes.

  My goal with Home Sense is to have fun with homeownership! We definitely do not want to intimidate you as some of the other websites and television shows do, hey being a homeowner can be stressful enough! We will provide you with written, audio and video content on many home improvement and home repair issues and as I said, let's have some fun with it. If we make a mistake on a project, not only will we show it, we will show you how to fix it!
